Need help with this Asscher diamond? Can anyone help?

can anyone tell me if this diamond is worth buying? its for a buddy of mine and we are working with a 10k budget including the solitaire. please help. thanks!

Well, looking at the Aset and the MegaScope, I am not convinced it is a good performer... it looks the center would be dark-ish? And as it is backed only by their limited guarantee, it does not qualify for their upgrade/buy-back policies. Still, I would recommend you call/email GOG to ask them their candid opinion of the stone.
 
I don't think the aset /idealscope looks all that great either. You might ask for a video to see how it reacts.

OP - I second JulieN's recommendation - it is within the budget and will be an amazing diamond with great performance - take a look at the Aset, IdealScope and MegaScope for this Octavia, and compare it to those of the asscher in your original link... though compared to that asscher, the Octavia is less carat weight and smaller in face-up size, its excellent cut will result in a much more lively stone that will capture attention... and it comes with GOG's upgrade/buyback policies.

Very darkish, classic bad p3 angles.
