Cut is more important to how beautiful the diamond performs with light than color or clarity.
GIA does not grade cut of princess cuts.
AGS does.

For that reason I would not buy any of these three GIA-graded stones.
I'd look for a princess cut with an AGS 0 cut grade.

OR . . .

I'd buy any princess that met the cut standards of Whiteflash's ACA brand or any princess that was made by "Cut by Infinity" regardless of if it has GIA or AGS grading.

If you have narrowed it down to these 3 request aset images for them and post them.

So it sounds like your budget is around $6k and you're looking to get around 1.1-1.2ct. As Kenny mentioned, your sure bets would be a branded or nonbranded AGS ideal cut, but you're probably not going to get the size/color/clarity you want for $6k, so JA is a great place to look for GIA stones that have AGS0-quality cuts. The way to find those is to ask for ASETs based on promising-looking photos and evaluate them yourself. These all look promising from the photos, but you'd have to get ASET images for me to say any more. And JA only allows 3 ASETs per customer, so choose wisely!

Here are some others I'd consider (ignore the vendor designation of "good" and just look for ASETs):

http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/H-VS1-Good-Cut-Princess-Diamond-1323654.asp

This would be a nice one if you can stretch your budget:

This one is not cut to AGS0 standards, but it looks like a nice ASET. Ask about the extremely thin and thick parts of the girdle:

Would you consider a smaller diamond, around 1 ct? You would have a lot more options.

You guys think the 1.14 princess cut diamond from whiteflash worth the money? It is a little bit more than the diamonds at JA with a smaller ct. I noticed that whiteflash has the lifetime upgrade policy. How does it actually work? Are they reliable? Thanks for all the feedbacks!

I personally do. I purchased my princess from WF (it's also an ACA), and their customer service was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again and have sent a couple of friends there too. They also have a lifetime upgrade policy, so if you decide you want a bigger stone or a higher color or clarity later on, you can trade in your diamond and 100% of what you paid for it goes toward the new stone.

ETA: Also, with the ACA brand, you get not only AGS0 cut grading, but a branded superideal cut, meaning that it's cut to even tighter standards than AGS ideal. I could have found a princess for a bit cheaper than the one I bought, but I chose the ACA because of this.

I think so. I've purchased from both BN and WF and feel better with the service (and upgrade policy) from WF.

For what it's worth, I went back and looked at the one from Good Old Gold, and I saw that the dimensions are actually similar to a 1ct as opposed to a 1.1, most likely because of the 79% depth. So I'd proably rule that one out.
