Need help with Settings

Hello everyone!

So over the course of the past year, I have started collecting some gems and diamonds and wanted to start setting them. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find inexpensive settings that can be temporary. For a couple of the stones, I just can't afford to do custom and i would really rather not spend over a few hundred dollars.

Tried Ebay and Craigslist, but not happy with any selections on there.

Depending on what you need to set there are a few. Poppy-something on DB and a couple etsy vendors.

What are the sizes of the stones?

The OEC is .4ct with two .1ct side stones. The Sapphire and Red Spinel are both about 1ct a piece. Not large stones, but I would still like to do something nice on a budget. Thanks for your prompt response by the way

Go to the colored stones section of the forum and post there because there are a LOT of girls there who collect gemstones and set some in inexpensive settings. Some of them use Lord Of Gem Rings on ebay, I think. But they can help you!

If you like antique style settings, Diamond Zone has many inexpensive ones. They have a store, website, and sell on ebay as well. Seller name on ebay is "mydiamondzone".

I'd say try QVC or HSN and get a ring you like and pop out the center and put your gemstone in. At least you'd get good looking side stones that look like the real thing till you have the money to spend on the real thing. Sometimes you can find settings with white sapphire or zircon that are set in sterling silver that are inexpensive...
