need help with priceing a diamond

i purchased a natural light pink diamond si2 .94cts and have had trouble gitting an acurate appraisal on it can someone point me in the right direction or know the price range that im looking at for replacement.

Light pinks are all across the board. Most appraisers are unfamiliar with the variables that affect value, and the pricing structure thereof.

First off, you need a GIA certificate documenting the stone. Then you need an appraiser knowledgeable in fancy colors. A specialist.

There's a lab in New York that specializes in fancies, but I've forgotten the name. I recommend you contact Stephen Hofer, who "wrote the book" on fancy colored diamonds. You can reach him at:
