Hi Guys!
What I''ve been waiting for -

0.58 G 60.3 56 EX EX None 5.44x5.47x3.29 (D=60.3/T=55.4/C=34.2/P=40.9)
0.59 G 60.4 57 EX EX None 5.43x5.46x3.29 (D=60.3/T=57.5/C=34.8/P=40.7)
0.59 G 61.0 56 EX EX None 5.42x5.49x3.33 (D=61.2/T=55.4/C=34.2/P=40.9)

Why are the Sarin #s different from the GIA #''s is this bad?
Will any of these stones seem to match - or are they too far off from each other?

The HCA''s are pretty good - should I be concerend about the scintilation of VG as compared to EX?

Whadda ya think?

All look lovely by the numbers ..... flip a coin, it's that close.

They are all very close--even their diameters are the same mostly.

I'd choose based on the HCA scores if that is all you have to go on.

The first two have the best HCA scores and most X's....first is 1.2 with EX EX VG EX and the second is 1.1 with EX EX EX EX. The third has two VG's.

It's very nitpicky at this point but I'd choose the first two. I also like how their depths are the same and the diameter range is smaller meaning they are probably better in terms of symmetry.

I dont' undertand something - Why don't the GIA cert (posted table and depth) match the sarin - is that normal??

GIA #s 0.58 60.3 56.0 EX EX None 5.44x5.47x3.29
Sarin # D=60.3 T=55.4 C=34.2/P=40.9

GIA #s 0.59 60.4 57.0 EX EX None 5.43x5.46x3.29
Sarin # D=60.3 T=57.5 C=34.8/P=40.7)

Yes it's normal.

GIA rounds tables up or down to the nearest % while Sarin gives to the tenth position %.

As for being off by .1 on the depth, that's excellent. Sometimes it's much more off. Sarin machines are calibrated by humans, just like grading is done by humans. No one is perfect.
