Hi everyone. I have enjoyed trying to learn from the forums. I realize I am not an expert, but it looks like some people in the forums are! It seems there is a wealth of knowledge in here. I am sure a similar question has been asked many times, but here it is again....

I am looking for an engagement ring. This is my first time. After doing a lot of reading, comparing, etc., I have come to decide I want to get her a high quality diamond, a simple setting, and my budget is $4,000. Can I please get some feedback on round diamonds at WF, or other places, that would be a good quality/budget match? I have noticed links to diamonds posted under other topics, and that would be exactly what I am looking for. I will be ordering the diamond and the setting together.

If anyone sees a emerald, asscher, or cushion shape that would work well, I would be open to that also.

I am very excited to order something, and look forward to reviewing the replies.

Thanks!!!!

I''d stick with WF or www.goodoldgold.com for rounds. If you want an asscher or a cushion, it''s going to be more than 4k, and that''s just for the stone. I have bought from both vendors and have been very pleased. Also check out www.jamesallen.com Good luck!!!

bumping to the top, for more comments, direction, help.........

Do any sites other than WF offer a discount if you mention Pricescope??

I think James Allen does. GOG-- not sure.
