I found this stone on WF and it looks like a steal to me...

WF Stone

It is SI1 and you can see the 2 major inclusions, one is at about 3 o'clock and the other at around 7 o'clock. These locations look to me like they could be covered with the prongs pretty easily.

The stone scored a 1 on the pricescope cut calculator tool.

For only 2800 it seems like an absolute steal.

Please give me your thoughts ASAP.

Anybody??

Everything looks good from performance point of view. Regarding the inclusions, best to get the opinion of WF, give them a call, as there is no way for us to judge if they are visible or not, and if it is prongable, in real life from a image.

Thanks! I will call them in the AM

Hi Adam

Its a great diamond, just ask WF if it is eyeclean to your standards - that is the best way as you really can''t tell by images.

I called WF and they said the stone was on their "eye clean" list. They have the stone marked as sold for me so I think I''m gonna go ahead and order it and if I get it and the inclusions bother me, then I''ll return it and just pay the shipping costs.

Here is the stone, what do you think?

It is listed for only 2900, WF H&A ACA stone. .81 ct

It''s a beatiful stone. Unless you have eagle''s eyesight, I wouldn''t worry about the inclusions, WF has an excellent reputation and will be honest about eye-clean. Remember that the photo is magnified 40x. Shrink the photo to approx size of the diamond and try to find the inclusions.

It looks great, if WF say it matches your standards for '' eyecleanliness'' and you have made this clear to them then definitely worth serious consideration.
