Need HELP prior to purchasing a diamond....

Hi everyone,

I wanted to buy this diamond and setting online. Should I have the retailer send the diamond to an independent in my hometown before purchasing the diamond w/ the mounting? My biggest concern that it will be difficult to verify if the diamond is free of nicks, cracks under prongs....PLEASE GIVE ME SOME SUGGESTION ADVICE PRIOR TO PURCHASE!!!!

Check in the resources folder and look for appraisers, maybe there is a Pricescope recommended appraiser near you.

You could have the diamond set then have an appraiser check the completed ring to make sure all is in order, here is the appraisal tool Wink mentioned
