Need help pricing this ring(setting), please!

So after skimming through these forums I see everyone is extremely knowledge and in-depth when it comes to diamonds. I may not be the same,but please don't turn me away.
**NOTE** I understand this is by no means an accurate way to find out how much this ring may be worth, but ideally I would really love just a rough estimate. And I'd really appreciate it

My girlfriend loves this diamond, but not necessarily the band(is that called the setting?) it comes in, so I was thinking about buying it, removing the center stone, and trying to sell the ring. Sadly, I have no idea about what it could be worth so I can't even estimate a net cost for the center stone.
Here are some small details and I'll attach some crappy pictures:

Center stone is 1.48 Ct.
Side stones total 0.81 Ct.

18k gold

I1 Clarity...?
H in color..? (Do those sound right, or did I switch them?

If I understand your question, you're trying to find out what you'd be able to get for the setting without the center stone, is that correct?

A lot would depend on the quality of the setting (whether it's solid or hollowed out underneath, for example) and of the melee stones used in it. 18k would suggest a fairly good quality setting, but... you never know.

I would add that the setting is a style that's not particularly in vogue right now, so it might be hard to sell. If your plan depends on selling that setting to help finance the new setting... you might find yourself stuck.

Why not just start from scratch, with a diamond chosen from one of the PS vendors and set in the right setting (as in one your girlfriend actually likes) to begin with?

That seems kind of extreme to buy a ring that she doesn't even want considering there are hundreds of thousands of loose diamonds out there to choose from! You'll get a lot less than you paid for a used setting, usually.

Also, you really don't want an I1 clarity diamond for an engagement ring. That means it likely has visible inclusions or inclusions that could affect the light return of the diamond. Is that diamond GIA lab graded?

If you'd tell us your budget for the diamond alone, we'd be happy to help you find a well cut stone within your budget, and likely a better value and higher quality than the one you are considering.

Obviously I have no idea what your budget is yet, but I just want to show you what a well cut princess stone should look like, and they are not typically found in local jewelers. These jewelers happen to specialize in the highest cut quality diamonds.
