Need help picking a diamond

Hello All!

I need help, I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm trying to find a nice round diamond for a solitaire engagement setting for my girlfriend. I'd like to get the biggest, shiniest diamond that's within my budget. Realistically, I'm looking for a quality diamond for the right price. My budget is $13,000 or less for the diamond and I'm looking for something 1.5 c or bigger. I'm visiting with her parents for the holidays to ask for their blessing and (hopefully, fingers crossed) once that occurs I'll have a head start on getting her ring.

I've browsed some sites like whiteflash and ERD. If you could point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

WF usually notes if it is eye-clean, but it is missing that. Ask WF if it is eye-clean, might not be.

I decided on this former BGD from the now defunct JBEG. 1.71 c, round brilliant.

They were great with the purchase and I didn't get too beat up over the price, imo. She loves it and calls it 'the precious', a tip of the hat to Lord of the Rings. I think I did good.
