Hi everyone, I've been searching for a stone for more than 2 months now... I've previously had one I really liked but couldn't buy it in time and haven't had one that's my cup of tea for 2 months. I've finally found 2 that I really like!! Would really really need your help in advicing which one is better, don't wanna lose this opportunity! I've got the aset and inclusions plot uploaded too. Hope to get any advice asap!

Same price for both diamonds

1) 1.09 Ct. E-VS2 Diamond (Round)
GIA Triple excellent

Fluorescence Faint
Size 6.73 x 6.71 x 4.01 mm
Ratio 1.003
Depth 59.6%
Pavilion Depth 43.5%
Table 59.0%
Girdle Thin to Medium
Crown Height 13.5%
Crown Angle 33.0°
Pavilion Angle 41.0°

2) 1.01 Ct. F-VS2 Diamond
GIA Triple Excellent

Fluorescence None
Size 6.45 x 6.47 x 3.96 mm
Ratio 1.003
Depth 61.3%
Pavilion Depth 43.0%
Table 58.0%
Girdle Medium to Slightly Thick
Crown Height 14.5%
Crown Angle 34.5°
Pavilion Angle 40.8°

the 1.09 E has a better color and bigger but the crown angle and faint fluoro gives me second thought about it.
Any opinion appreciated!

PS: Star length for both are 50% and Lower half at 75%

The first one is basically a "60/60" stone: https://www.pricescope.com/wiki/diamonds/60-60-proportioned-diamond

It will have more relative white light output and less fire (colored light return) than the 2nd. No need to worry about faint fluor.

I like the numbers on the 2nd one (the F) better, and if the ASETS and plots are labeled correctly and in reverse order (the first stone is the last 2 pics), then I'd pick the F hands down. Better numbers, better ASET, and more balanced light return between white light and color. JMHO.

Thanks for the reply! I think the 1.01 F has better proportions too although of course I'm no way a pro!! Just my gut feeling from all the diamond search in the last 2 months.

However I do note that there's the comment on the 1.01f gia cert "Clarity grade is based on clouds that are not shown".
Some said that this would mean the diamond to be cloudy for sure. Any danger of milkiness in this vs2 ?

For the 1.09e, the comment on the cert is Pinpoints are not shown. Surface graining is not shown

by the way, I just obtained the photos of the real diamonds.

Perhaps this helps with judging on the cloudiness issue of the 1.01F?

Ah - I missed the part about the clouds. I wouldn't necessarily get concerned about it though - it is still only a VS2; they can't be that glaring. Check with the vendor - and I still like the F after seeing pics of the actual stones. :)

I like the F too because of the longer arrows. Whether you'll notice much of a difference at normal viewing distances is another story. Both are fine though so it could come down to other factors like price or whichever one speaks more to you.
