I'm considering 2 diamonds from Blue Nile. There are no pictures available for either, but both come out with an Exellent rating from PriceScope HCA and Facetware. I'm ok with the price, plus a $100 off from a promotion. I just want it to sparkle. Thank you in advance.
Blue Nile stock numbers LD02032208 and LD02198574

Without more info we can't tell you anything more than "numbers are fine" for both - nothing to say one is better than the other, anyway! BN has a generous return policy - I'd feel comfortable buying and seeing if you like it when you get it, and returning if you don't. Or better - can you buy both and compare, see which your eyes prefer?

I had a feeling that would be the case. Buying both isn't an option but I do have plenty of time to pick something else if I don't like what I order. Thanks

To answer your question before rambling off topic. Both look nice and score similarly, so I would say pick which one you prefer, Perfect D color, or perfect IF Clarity, can't really go wrong either way since you have to worry about comparing side by side, just get to pick one and see if it meets your standards when it shows up.

Bluenile is tricky to deal with because it is relatively sight unseen compared to the other PriceScope vendors. A comparison stone from another vendor would be 0.521 ct F VS1 A CUT ABOVE® $2,584
where you have a better idea of the light performance etc. (although the GCAL report for BlueNile Signature stones helps slightly). This isn't to say Blue Nile is bad, just a greater chance you may have to use their return policy if the stone isn't for you.
This seems to be the tradeoff, larger inventory, but less information available on each stone. Don't take this as anti BN, there just isn't really enough information available to make a large distinction between stones.

One question that may come up (when we provide input beyond what you ask for) is whether the super high clarity is a requirement or important, since generally VS1 and above (and sometimes S1/S2) look the same from normal distance without magnification (i.e. eye clean for inclusions), this isn't to say there is no reason to take a higher clarity if available (mind clean, and harder to find defects with a loupe)

Another BN example (lower clarity stone) that also seems to be in your range of options (similar price, slightly larger and D - F color) (1.4 TIC Score) but has a little more information available on GCAL report
