Need Help In Selecting Diamond NEWBIE

hi,
I went to the jewerly store today and found the below GIA certified diamond, is it worth $6500 or can i do better. I looked at the diamond in the store and it shined like crazy. Any help would be great.

By the way, do you have anymore information on the stone, like crown or pavilion angle? Or the GIA report number?

As was mentioned, we need the crown and pavillion angles. Additionally, a "good" polish grade gives an indication as to the quality of the stone in general. Most here would prefer "very good" for polish and symmetry at a minimum.

The GIA number is 13342510 and it doesn''t list the crown or pavillion angles. if i do not have those measurements is there any other way to know if this diamond is in good proportion?

Old stone, 2004 report so there was angles.

Is this a B&M store? Can they get a sarin scan of it? I think some of the bigger appraisers have these scanners too.

So sorry, no way to judge the cut of the stone.

What are your range and budget for the stone? There might be something online that match your budget.

I am looking for a 1.25ish stone and would like something that is very sparkly in any light conditon i am open to a Si1 stone as long as i can''t see any clouds. . . my budget is 6,000-7,000. any help would be great as i am new at this....thanks

ACA is just what WF feels like what they consider the ideal for a cut while the ES stones are usually stones that they bought in but fails to make it to the ACA cut.

Regular is usually stones that are not inhouse but a common online pool. It is more difficult to select from that pool as there is a lack of IS and ASET pics that we require for fancy stones in order to judge their performance.

ACA or A Cut Above is the name of Whiteflash''s branded hearts and arrows cut. Expert Selection are well cut diamonds which have the emphasis on value for the money, some may have missed being an ACA by a hair, others are well cut diamonds which aren''t near hearts and arrows, but still well performing diamonds for the money.
