Could you please help me choose one of these settings for my SO? She hasn''t given me much direction other than saying she likes white gold. She has left the rest up to me.

The center stone I purchased is a shy one carat I-SI1 with ideal cut and proportions. I like all four of these because because of the simplicity, but with the added bling of the pave stones. She has long, lean fingers and I thought that these type of bands would look good on her and would accentuate the center stone.

I forgot to add that the stone is a round brilliant

I'm new to this forum, but I really like the rings that you picked out. My favorite looking one is the second one. The harmony diamond engagement ring. I wonder, not by experience, if the micro pave on the third one would be difficult to keep clean.

Personally, though, I prefer prong set over pave, but that's me. My ring finger is a size 6, so i don't know if that qualifies as slender, but my fingers aren't that long and my nails are naturally squareish. So square shaped or flat bands don't really flatter my hands so much.

I wouldn't pick the second one for myself because of MY hands, but on her long slender hands it may look fantastic. It's still my favorite one of the ones you listed though I think they're all beautiful.

I like the Legato sleek line the best (the first one). It has beautiful clean lines and the basket has graceful curves.

I love the looked of the domed pave but there would be concerns on its durability and the thought of those tiny ACAs falling out would drive me nuts. Your best bet would be the Harmony. A few PSers have this setting and it is gorgeous and classic

I think the Legato Sleek Line one looks like it would hold up well. I''d probably choose it, although I really like it plain the best!

I vote for the Harmony. Beautiful, graceful, classic...really nice.

You should consider too that when you wear two three-sided pave bands next to each other (like an e-ring and matching w-band), you run the risk of damaging the rings. Both the second two would concern me on that aspect, depending on how they are designed.

I LOVE the harmony setting, but they''re all beautiful! I''d stay away from the 3-sided pave if she uses her hands a lot for work. Even the sturdiest pave is still fragile. I''m a nurse and I know that setting would be a death sentence for the diamonds.

Another vote for #1!

another vote for #1 - it's a gorgeous setting!

I''d go with #1...

I vote for #2 first and #1 second. I love the look of three-sided pave, but these rings require quite a bit of maintenance since they have so many small stones that can fall out. In addition, I think they look better with large 2 carat + stones.

The harmony engagement ring is lovely and quite a bit easier to maintain compared to the other pave settings. It will look delicate and lovely for a 1 carat stone. You also can''t go wrong with a lovely solitaire like number 1!! Is the rest of her jewelry classic and simple or delicate and feminine? If she likes classic I''d go for #1. If she likes antique or feminine I''d go with #2.

2 - Harmony the best
1 - Sleek Lines second best

I vote for #1.
