Hello, I have diamond ring I want to get rid of and want to know the price is value at.

GIA 2121221434
Measurement: 7.09x7.07x5.09
Shape: Princess cut (Square)
Carat Weight: 2.08 carat
Color: E
Clarity: SI1
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry Excellent
Fluorescence: None

That's the spec of the diamond.

Generally selling a loose diamond yourself on the second-hand/pre-loved market nets you apx 50% - could be more or less depending on your geographic location, current condition of the diamond (GIA report is dated June 2010), where/how you list it, and your ability to wait versus your need to make the sale.

I ran a quick PS search for similar GIA princess diamonds offered by diamond vendors today - per the results, the current market price range is apx $17-$18.5K - so resale value may be $7-9K depending on other factors?

I did the same but used a more conservative return estimate of 30%.

OP, when and where did you buy the ring? And if you don't mind sharing, what was the purchase price?
