I''ve done tons of searching and have worked with two companies and haven''t been too thrilled with what they are giving me for options. Here is what I am looking for. Am I being unrealistic?

Any suggestions? https://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/images/smilies/33.gif

Round
1.13ct or greater (prefer closer to 1.2)
H color (gia/ags) F (EGL)
SI1 eye clean
a good HCA score (2ex and 2vg or better prefer 3ex)
sym VG or better
pol VG or better
Strong Blue Fluorescence (but not cloudy/oily/etc)
less than $6200 wire price

Thanks -amped

Is your price for the stone only? If so, your specs dont seem unreasonable, but you won't get a "super ideal" diamond. Even at the lower end of your cut specs, you will be right at the limit in budget. Given your price range, I would consider an I color grade "super ideal". It will likely face up whiter than a lesser cut H diamond anyways. (I bought an I color 1.53ct VS1 from WF and it faces up very white, faces up whiter than my mom's GIA G color "very good" cut). Also, I think that it is going to be difficult to find a very well cut diamond w/ strong blue fluorescence as this is not highly desirable by the average consumer, hence the lower availability in great cuts. The industry is constantly increasing prices, so start looking to buy very soon...

Looking on GoG & WF (both H&A and non-H&A AGS-0), you will have to spend about $7-7.5K to get an H color, where you could probably get an I color nearer to your range...

$6200 is for the stone only. I''ve been doing plenty of searching and I can come up with a bunch but when I ask the vendor to find some that meet my criteria they give me one choice that isn''t even cut very well and over my price range. And tell me how it is beautiful.

Anyone have any PS diamond links that I could check out further?

Thanks.

Here's one I found for you. Its actually the only one I could find to meet all of your criteria:

Good luck with the search, and keep us posted!

ETA: Never mind, this is way over budget at ~7k and no fluoro. JA did have a couple of SI2 stones, that were under budget, but I don't know how eye clean they were. You may have to up your budget to get what you want.

If you would consider a SI2 clarity, if verified eyeclean to your standards, I found some diamonds you might like - as with all SI clarity, check that the diamond is eyeclean according to your comfort level.

Is there any particular reason you want strong blue fluoro? These stones are harder to come by and you may have to wait a while to find an ideal cut one. If you don''t want any fluoro, the stones Lorelei found are very nice. I would suggest using the cut quality search button at the top of the page to find the stones you are looking for.

I forgot to mention that, is strong fluorescence non negotiable? If so, that could make it harder finding diamonds which may suit you.
