Hi,

My wife and I are looking to buy a diamond ring and have narrowed it down to 3 choices. However, to us they seem fairly similar - are there any advantages to buying one over the other?

Our budget is around USD 8k (for the diamond) and we're looking for something around 1 carat.

Is it worth it to splurge a bit and buy this one instead?

Thanks!

My first choice will be the 1.03 G VVS2, after that the 1.00 G VS1.
I would not buy the other 2 diamonds: I dislike the faint fluorescence of the one, and the VS2 clarity of the other.

VVS clarity is overkill - nothing wrong with it, and if it's culturally important, then go for it. But TO ME... why pay for something you literally can't see?

There is nothing wrong with faint fluor - it will have no impact on what the stone looks like.

Have you run the numbers through the HCA? https://www.pricescope.com/tools/hca Anything under 2 is good, weed out anything over 2, then ask for an idealscope. At JA you can choose up to 3 to get IS on.
HOWEVER tyty is right - unless there is a particular setting you want from JA, I'd personally get an ACA from WF (or an ideal cut from Brian Gavin, or Crafted by Infinity, or Good Old Gold Ascendancy).

If I have to choose, come criteria has to be applied. I'm eliminating two diamonds because of some of their features. All diamonds from the links are True Hearts so light performance should be excellent!
VVS2 clarity means quality. Also, the VVS2 diamond has 55% table, which I prefer.
For me, the 1.03 G VVS2 is the top quality, but if budget is more important, the 1.00 G VS1 is also good choice.
Visible from the video of the diamond with the faint fluorescence, there is haziness in this diamond. I would not buy a diamond with haziness. Also, fluorescence in G color is not desirable!
