Hi!

First time poster here. I have been researching for the past 2 months now about diamonds and the 4Cs including here as I am in a need of a diamond for an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I know I need ASET images to figure out which diamond has more brilliance to it. James Allen only allows 3 ASET images and I need help choosing which 3 out of 5. It would really help me out if I can get some outside perspective.

#1 - HCA = 1.6 It's a "60/60" stone - more relative white light return and less colored light than a more traditionally proportioned stone. Don't particularly like the look of this one.

#2 - HCA = 1.3 Also a 60/60 - lower crown angle, so likely less colored light return, but has good spread and looks good if eye clean

#3 - HCA = 0.8 Close to 60/60 - nice crown angle - I like how this one looks

#4 - HCA = 1.7 - love the medium fluor -

#5 - HCA = 2.0 - again, fluor

I'd eliminate #1, then pick 3 of the others, depending on what is important to you.

And on rounds you want an idealscope image, not an ASET.
