I purchased a princess diamond from a reputable vender her in Dallas two weeks ago. I thought I was getting a good deal at the time. I really wanted to buy locally instead of online because of the sizing and other issues. It is a Diamond Broker that is supposed to have wholesale prices. I looked at 4 princess diamonds and settled on the best looking one. $ 4800 for the stone. I was really excited to see it in a setting and get ready for the proposal. When I found this site I quickly realized that I had not made a good decision. Looking at the cut is the most important thing! I got the ring 1 week ago and I was not happy with the scintilization and fire when not in the store. When the stone is in the direct sunlight or inder lights such as the mall or in the bathroom the stone looks fine. I have compared with other stones from other vendors and I can tell you that I got taken advantage of. The clarity and color is what I think That I bought but, the cut is whoreable. I called the Broker and asked about his return policy and he said to just give it to her and if she isn''t happy with it then we can always upgrade to a better stone with full credit for the old one. I wanted to have the best stone for the money that I have spent and I don''t think that I have gotten it. What can or should I do? I don''t think I can trust this guy anymore and I want to get a better stone.. He has a no refund policy. He is also a member of the Better Business Bureau. I purchased this with a credit card.
