Need help evaluting this cushion

Oh Boy, do I need some help!! I am a long-time PS lurker--love to see all the pretty rings you guys post. Have now gotten bitten by the bug to buy a new engagement/wedding ring after seeing the beautiful Leon Mege setting (r4726) with French cut diamonds and a cushion center. If I'm going to make this work, my taste and my budget have to figure out how to play nice together (ie unfortunately, the gorgeous 3ct stone in the example on the LM website is not an option). I've been emailing with Perry and he suggested the stone whose GIA cert I've attached. I have ZERO experience evaluating diamonds and this purchase is a once-in-a-lifetime thing for me so I don't want to mess up. Could you cushion diamond experts please tell me what you think? What questions should I be asking? Thanks so much!!! I'm so excited there is a chance I might get this beautiful ring!!

Hi Dawn

Unfortunatly we cant tell you much without images/aset of the stone. Fancy cuts are so varied that there is no set of numbers
that we can go by. Can your jeweler provide an up close picture of the stone and aset image? If they can, please post them.
If you need help finding a stone we can look around for you if you give us your specs/budget.

Is this SI2 clean from 12 inches away? Are you particular that you don't want to see anything from 6 inches away? In terms of cut, the numbers do not tell anything so pictures are the next best thing.
