Need Help: Cushion Halo

Been reading a lot lately and think I know what I want, but am not sure how and where to acquire it.

Here are 2 examples of the direction I'm headed:

Thinking Victor would be a good place to start for the setting, but not sure about the stone.

Why are cushion stones that have similar specs to this one considerably cheaper on ERD?

Goodoldgold cuts their own branded cushions that have perfect and chunky faceting! They have non-branded cushions as well and Jon has available a ton of tools/video's to help evaluate diamonds.

Mark at ERD has an amazing eye and is located in the heart of the diamond district. He has found many amazing cushions for pricescopers.

Both are highly regarded vendors and many times it may come down to who has exactly what you want in your budget.

They do have different business models though and you do want to make sure you are comparing apples to apples when you are looking at #'s and specs and pricing
