I have narrowed the field down to three stones to choose from. I really would like to hear your feedback and the ranking on these stone. I really appreciate your input

Carat 1.00 1.01 .955
Color I I I
Clarity SI1 SI1 VS2
Cut GIA IDEAL GIA IDEAL AGS IDEAL H&A
Dimentions 6.47-54 X 3.99 6.38-44 X 3.96 6.27-31 X 3.92
Depth 61.3 61.8 62.3
Table 58 57 54
Girdle Thin - Med Sli Thi- Thick 1.4-2.1
Cutlet None None Pointed
Polish Good Good Ideal
Symetry Good VG Ideal
Flouresence Faint None Neg
Crown 34.2
Table 54

Please help me. The one on the right is roughly 100 more than the other ones. I do not have the crown or table on the first two.

I would vote for asking the vendor for pictures and more information. It is nearly impossible to tell how a stone will look without more info and a few pcis would be nice too.

Also I am wondering if the last line you meant to say pavillion? Other wise table is listed twice.

If that is true then the last one scores a .6 on the HCA Cut Advisor

Yes it is the Pavillion. The first two are from a jeweler and I can go and look at them. The last one I can get pics.

I would like to get it from the local jeweler, but I don''t want to sacrifice the stone.

PLEASE ADVISE

I''m sorry the pavillion is 40.8 on the last one

we would need more information on the first two in order to make a more informed guesstimate

I don''t have any more information. I have the certificate number. Would that be helpfull?

Okay with your updated information the HCA produces a 1.2. even tiny changes in the number can produce a large number jump. So if you can get the numbers for the firsttwo we will be able to tell you which stone will be the optimal cut.

no it wouldn''t help. you will just have to use your eyes (they''re the best for this kind of thing anyway!)

So you do not think that if I look at the first two stones and they look good that I should worry about the fact that:

They are not H&A
Symetry is VG or G
Polish is G
and that their clarity is SI1

I think the faint flourescene may help on one of them

the term h&a in and of itself does not guarantee anything
your eyes cannot tell the difference between vg or g
all si clarity stones should be seen to confirm the location and type of inclusions

the jewelry store stones are going to look great in the jewelry store. if you can, take them and look at them in lighting conditions other than those bright halogens. if you think they look good, or one looks better, it is worth considering.

The first stone is going to look noticeably larger than the last stone.

Other than that, I can''t help you much. Could your jeweler get sarin info on the first two?

How is the price compared to pricescope vendors? They could be nice, especially #1

Well I went to the jeweler and looked at the #1 and #2. It seemed that number one was a little cleaner when under a microscope, so I started leaning towards that one but then I saw both of them against a white background and #2 had such rich sparkle to the eye and looked really clean to the eye. I ended up picking up #2. I hope I made the right choice. Once they set it I will pick it up and try to post some pictures.

You guys are right... It''s easier to get a eye clean diamond then a mind clean diamond.

The prices were comparable...
