Hi all,
I am a pricescope newbie and would like your expertise on this situation. I now have a loose diamond, about 6 mm, that I would like to possibly have fixed up before having it set either into a ring or pendant for my niece when she gets older. It was in a setting that I found and loved, so that is why I bought it anyway knowing I would get a "not so nice" center diamond. After cleaning in soap and water...the color started fading on it and now this is what it looks like...it has obvious black carbon spots and semi pink/red colored. The table appears somewhat on the large side. Is a rehab on it reasonably possible costwise or is this a lost cause for this diamond? Your thoughts and help please.
