Hi BD,

This diamond is rather deep and could look small for it's weight as a result. The crown and pavilion percents are needed to properly judge this diamond, but I would look for a diamond with less depth, around 60 - 62.4% Also it is an I1, it may not be eyeclean. Also do you know which EGL graded it, EGL USA, Antwerp, Israel or other? I would continue to look some more quite honestly, if you are set on this one then post the crown and pav percents and we can help you some more, but I would look for other contenders. What do you want to do with the diamond, set it in a ring?

Ditto Lorelei. You can probably do better. The "good" symmetry is also a minor problem. I would at least bump up to SI2 and maybe stick to GIA or AGS graded stones as EGL tends to be a little "loose" with their grading.

Symmetry of good and above is said to look indistinguishable to the untrained eye, so that wouldn''t be too much of an issue. Of course if a top make stone is desired, then excellent or above is usual as part of the package.

Yes indeed, even with an EGL rep, it may not be eyeclean I would imagine for that price, it would be best for the OP to look for others as previously noted.
