Need help, are prongs poorly set and is the diamond tilted?

So when I picked up my finished ring, I immediately thought the ring looked asymmetrical. I told them so, but I couldn’t pinpoint why, but from top-down it looked like the prongs on one side were uneven and sticking out further than the other. I also thought the diamond was tilted by 1-2 degrees and that maybe this caused the asymmetry but this one could be completely off. The bench jeweler did not see any asymmetry and I feel like I was gaslit for 2-3hrs. Anyway they tried to “adjust the finishing” and said it was perfect after.

I took the ring home and realized their “fix” had mad the stone loose. It was rattling in the cage. I took it back the day after, they spent 10mins and “fixed it”. But now the prongs look all sorts of ****ed up, they look way worse, are floating, massive gaps. See pics below. Only 2 of the prongs make what I would think is perfect contact with the stone, hugging it near the girdle and over.

Can I get some validation that these are not normal/this is bad before I send a frustrated email. I have had so many issues with the custom making of this I almost don’t want to go back, but they will try to fix it for free at least?

This is posted on the lab grown diamond forum. However, since the issue with your ring has to do with the prongs, I don’t think there’s any relevance to the source of the diamond, so why don’t you put this on Rocky Talk where you’ll likely get more experts to weigh in.

The prongs are so bad I wouldn't even care about the tilt. (It's going to shift on your finger in subtle ways.) This is some of the worst work I've seen and I'm not that picky. Does the store have a manager?

I can't believe this is the ring AFTER reworking it. The gap is appalling, those prongs will catch on everything and you are at serious risk of losing the diamond.

is it really THAT bad? Oh no :( that’s really hard to believe. My lack of confidence in what I thought was quality allowed them to be complacent I guess.

Yes I already spoke to manager AND owner before. So if I bring concerns up it won’t be the first time.

What’s results in my best outcome here?
