There are a few Tiffany Lucida rings available on the market, these come around fairly often. I have had the opportunity of viewing many rings at Tiffany and still don''t have a great handle on how the proportions/finish/color combinations impact the look of this diamond. Can you please evaluate the rings available and provide some feedback:

Lucida # 1
Lucida # 2
Lucida # 3

Since there is limited information on this patented cut, any information would be appreciated:
What are the ideal proportions, what are the critical factors?
How important is the finish, what are the critical factors?
Is it easy to differentiate color with this cut?

Thanks for your help!

I was just about to try and find your old post to say that there were some lucida''s on signedpieces

The cert on the 1.02ct one is very hard to read so I''d probably try and get some more info from them on that. I just had a look at my cert in comparison to the 1ct one, the polish and symmetry on mine are ex, for both rather than good. With colour, my ring is an I and it''s very white. Not sure if I gave you a link but here it is here. I didn''t pick mine based on numbers, I just used my eyes when I was there and picked which I thought was the nicest. Are you near NY at all that you could go up and look at them?

Thanks for keeping an eye out Bee!

My major concerns is the finish, i have not seen a Lucida with good polish/symetry, most of them have been rated very good or excellent. I am not sure how this rating will impact the look of the diamond. I will have to give them a call and get some additional detail.

Get the largest one. If they are all genuine Tiffany Lucida, they will all look nice. :-)

no prob! I''d get that additional detail and if they are both similar, I''d probably go with the H in colour one. I''d go with the higher colour over the higher clarity. Either way though, I really don''t think you can go wrong with them. Best of luck!
