Need feedback on this diamond ASAP....

From the 360 it appears to be eye-clean, but I'm worried about the pavilion angle. Plugging the numbers into the HCA it came out 3.1 so not that great.

If you're really interested in it you can call JA and ask if it's eye clean. Again, this is just my opinion, I think the Whiteflash 1.33 is a FAR better stone in terms of performance and cut. Size wise they are so close, you would not notice any difference. The JA stone is 7.16x7.19x4.41 and the Whiteflash stone is 7.04x7.06x4.34, so negligible really. Price difference is about $500.

Also someone posted that recently 500 stones were submitted to GIA that were likely treated with an agent that masked the color to appear whiter (higher color grade) which will eventually wear off. If you go with a GIA stone I would check their website as they have listed the cert numbers of those that they believe were treated.

Pavilion angle is 41.2, still over the 40.6-41.0 that we usually recommend. You absolutely have to get an idealscope or ASET image on this stone to see if there is leakage.

The pavilion angle gives me pause as well. Leakage is a concern; images like an Ideal-Scope and ASET will give a better idea of how it's performing. As far as eye clean goes, the best way is for someone to look at it personally.

If you don't mind us asking, what's your budget? And what parameters are you considering? :read:

Not sure if it matters, but pavilion was 41.2%... my mistake

My budget is from $10000 to $11500. I'm looking for an eye clean SI or VS2, G color or better that is 1.3 cts or over, of course excellent cut.
