Would appreciate opinions of this stone! Went and spoke with a jeweler today that we found online. Do not know him personally or know anyone who has worked with him.

He showed us a 1.7 round stone, G color, SI2, 7.58-7.63x4.77

depth: 62.6%

Table: 66%

GRD: thin, SL THK FACETED

CUL: None

Cut: Ideal

Polish: Ideal

SYM: Ideal

FLR: NONE

AGS Certificate

Then we also got this information which I don't know too much about

The report looks good and the diamond scores well on the HCA tool but do you know what kind of inclusions make it an SI2? I would be asking if there are any black carbons in the stone and if the stone is eye clean.

Yes, a number of the stats you typed in differ from the certificate you posted. Are you sure that's the correct cert for the stone you are looking at? Some are only slightly off, but others are widely wrong.

All stones are not laser inscribed. I am not sure if your first post lists one stone or two different stones, but I am not optimistic about either one. The AGS stone is too deep and faces up a little smaller than it could with lesser depth.

If you give us your budget, people can suggest stones from known, reliable vendors.

Budget is $13,000.
We are going back and forth between cushion or round cut. Must be ideal cut for both options and focus on a nice size of 1.7 or more. Would also like hearts and arrows, none or slight fluorescence. Ok with any clarity, as long as eye clean si1 or 2. Would like g or better but I know with an ideal stone something needs to give for our price range
