Do you have any faults with either one of them? Can you find one better for the money and the size? Also, is Blue Nile reputable? I saw one on White Flash for $8191 but the polish was very good instead of excellent. I am stuck on getting a 1.5 carat ring because I think anything smaller will not show up enough on the setting and band she picked out which is .5 carat each for a total of 1 carat. I am very weary of getting a J color or SI2 clarity but do not mind the I color or SI1. If I went to the H color or VS2 clarity, it will probably get too expensive for me. THANKS for any feedback or advice you can give me!

both of those look good, but you can''t really say that definitively unless you have seen the stone. however, the first one is on the deep side (so it looks smaller). also, .9 is not necessarily a better HCA score than 1.3. you''re just looking for a score under 2.

i know you said you weren''t sure about SI2, but this one at whiteflash might be worth checking out:

http://www.whiteflash.com/diamonds/diamond_Details.aspx?itemcode=GIA-14272182# you can always give them a call and ask them to describe the inclusions and if it''s eye-clean for you. less money and better spread at 7.62 mm vs the BN ones at 7.29 and 7.4.

the other at whiteflash that you mentioned- you had questioned whether the "very good" polish is a problem. definitely not. there''s no difference visible to the eye. it looks like you could do better on price going through whiteflash or a similar vendor, but the ones you posted from bluenile appear to be decent stones as well!
