Hi-
I saw this ring and thought it was beautiful, but I have been lurking on this site long enough to know that I don''t know enough to judge so I thought I would ask. Picture included. They want about $12500.

Radiant cut Diamond 1.99 CT in the center.
- Color: D
- Clarity: SI-1
IDEAL CUT
polish - very good
symmetry - very good
fluorescence - none
the dimensions are: 67.5% depth x 64% table
measurements are: 7.48x6.25X4.21

36 Round brilliant cut Diamonds 0.37 CT total weight on sides.
- Color: F
- Clarity: VS-2
- Setting: Platinum
- Weight: 9.0 g

Any insight would help greatly! TIA!!

There isn't a standard "ideal cut" for radiants... that is the seller's name calling and nothing more.

As far as depth % table go (and that's not far at all), those numbers sound great - which may or may not qualify this stone to be counted among the best depending on what you expect.

Is there a lab report with the stone ?

You may want to run a sercah for the seller's name on this forum. There might be some interesting feedback if my guess is right.

I am very skeptical of a diamond that size and color in that setting for that price! I would definitely have an appraiser look at it first to see what kind of SI 1 inclusions are in this stone. If the stone looks sound and eye clean by the appraiser , I think it is an awesome price!!
