Hi all,

I have a diamond on hold and would like to get some feedback. I was able to obtain all the images and I also have the GIA cert.

Overall, I think it looks great and it has a 1.9 HCA, but am concerned with a couple items:

1. at the 4:00 position, there is definitely some light leakage. How bad is this?
2. Its an I color with medium blue florescence. How bad is this? The gemologist said that it doesn't look milky, oily, or hazy. But I'm not sure if he's just saying that to make a sale.
3. The diamond is from B2C jewel and the diamond is coming from Asia (I think India), any concerns here?

I spoke to the gemologist, and it is eye clean at VS2. The diamond image below is with 10x magnification.

Please share your comments. I have a 1- day hold and will need decided asap. Really Really Appreciate all the help.

I am not good at reading ASET for rounds but can help you with the fluoro question. Only strong blue runs the risk of causing the hazy/oily look and even then, it isn't a common occurrence. What is B2C's return/review policy for diamonds coming from Asia?

I had a diamond with strong fluoro and it didn't make it oily or hazy at all (ended up returning it because it was just a bit too yellow though). Currently have another diamond and I'm pretty sure the strong fluoro is making it hazy in bright, direct sunlight. So it's a hit or miss and should be looked at on an individual basis.

The first diamond was purchased from B2C (it came from India I think) and had absolutely no problem returning it. Their return policy seems to be pretty good regardless of where the diamond is sourced from.
