Hello, so I ordered and received this preowned sapphire band, and Im a tad less than thrilled. It was sold to me a being perfect, and even tho I totally expected a few abrasions and chips to the stones, it appears that one is cracked right thru the middle. it seems secure and doesnt move in the setting. heres a pic:

Im not sure what to do. I like the ring ok, its a nice heavy piece, even tho the stones appear to be different sizes and some have less color saturation (they appear almost speckled?) Should I ask for a return, or is it ok? Im not sure what i should be expecting in preowned sapphires.
TIA!!

I think return if it is going to bother you. As I understand it, replacing just one stone is a chanel set band is a bit of a nightmare. If you needed it replaced then can ask cdj sako cicada jewelery, just would not expect it to be cheap as I anticipate that there will be a lot of work involved. You have valid reason for returns by the way, it is like someone buying a preloved bag and getting upset because the lining wasnt intact and that wasnt mentioned in the listing...... most people would be upset... on a pragmatic note what did the returns clause look like?

Thank you for replying. I was wondering if it could stay as is, but I think I knew that it couldn't already. No, i really dont want to invest into a $400 band. Plus a lot of the other stones are pretty abbrated (im ok with this) so a brand new stone might look "off". *Sigh* ok im going to contact the seller....thanks again!! :)
