I have a 1.53 round stone and am setting it with pear sidestones, but I''m not sure what size the pears should be. I definitely want them to be sidestones and not have a three stone look. I absolutely LOVE Virginia''s and Kaleigh''s rings and would like those proportions.

Any advice on the size for the pears?!!

Here are the links to Virginia''s and Kaleigh''s rings:)

You guys are the best! thanks in advance for the help!

Are you working with a jeweler? Its hard to say exactly what size sidestones you should be looking for to achieve the look you want without seeing your stone, knowing the proportions, etc. If you are working with someone, they should be able to steer you in the right direction...After taking measurements of your stone , most of them use some kind of formula to gauge what size sidestones they need .....

Hi there!
Thanks sooo much for the response.
Well, let me see if i can remember the proportions...
It''s about 7.29x7.32x4.54 I think..I''m trying to remember what the cert said:)

I believe Skippy123 has a round 1.5 cts with pear sidestones...Maybe she will chime in, or you can do a search for the thread on the specs of her ring...

Just checked out her specs, they look great, I think .25 pears would look about right...any other opinions?

Thanks!

with a 1.5 center, I think .25''s would be perfect, even .20''s if you want them a tiny bit smaller so it looks more like kaleigh''s.

I think you''re probably right, .20-.25 should be right on the money i guess:)
thanks for the input guys!
