Need a little help...3 month old measurements

Hello All!

I need a HUGE favor. I am knitting a christening dress for my best friend's new daughter. She will be getting christened at 3 months old and I am knitting her a patterned dress with a lace bottom that I am changing a bit. I am modifying the pattern and need a couple of measurements that I can't fine online.

If any of you have a 3 month old, would you mind checking on this for me as it is very hard to find these SPECIFIC measurements?

1. waist to knee

2. hip to knee

Also, are you measuring on a boy or a girl? (baby was almost 7 lbs when born, so I think she is pretty much in the average range- says the girl who has no clue!)

I don't have a baby, but I do knit. Have you thought about posting this question on Ravelry? Tons and tons of people knit baby items there and might have good pointers for sizing.
