Hello everyone!
I am looking to buy this jewelry piece for my wife (see attached picture). The price is 20000 $ and I think I can get it a couple thousands lower, but I am not sure if it's worth the price.
Its 18 karat gold, with a 1.01 radiant cut diamond G VS1, 2 argyle pink dimonds, 2 natural blue diamonds. Tcw of the pink and blue diamonds and the rest of the small diamonds is 0.7 total lentgh of the piece is 5 cm.
The 1.01 radiant cut diamond comes with a GIA certificate.
I would really like some 2nd opinion on the price, thanks!

 It's beautiful!! Lucky wife! Unfortunately we won't be able to help you much as far as a fair price of the piece. If it were me, I would make the sale contingent on an independent appraisal. A local appraiser will be a much better position to determine fair market value. Could you possibly hire an appraiser to view the piece with you?

Thank you for your reply,
It's Unfortunately to diffecult to get a qualified appraiser to look at it on the short time frame I have, so i hoped I could get som help from here. My wife has fallen in love with it and I promised I would buy it for here if it isn't ovepriced, so I don't need and exact price estimate, but I just like to know that I pay a big overprice for it.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge or insight than me will chime in. I know that fancy colored diamonds are quite pricey. :$$): Here is a website that might offer you some guidance in terms of the colored stones.

My gut instinct is that it is probably a reasonable price, but again I'm not an expert, nor have I made any similar purchases. There are some posters that have lots of experience with colored diamonds, so hopefully they will see your thread and chime in. You could also post a thread in the the colored stones section, I think that you may get more guidance there.

You also mentioned that the radiant came with a GIA lab report. Do they have a report for the colored stones? That would concern me a bit. I would want proof that they were natural colored diamonds.

There are unfortunately no certificates on the collored diamonds, it would have made it very easy for me to evaluate the price. But they are 100% genuine natural collored stones, the seller is very trustworthy and has a good reputation.

If the vendor is totally trustworthy, he or she should have a return policy. This would allow you time to have the piece independently appraised to make sure that it is what he states that it is. I would never invest that kind of money in a piece of jewlery that I couldn't have assessed by a professional with the ability to return it if it is not as stated. I would also insist on having this policy in writing. It is a beautiful piece of jewelry but there is no way an average layman could know for sure about the quality or value of those stones. At 18k - 20k, you have a generous budget and there are many pieces of gorgeous jewelry to be had for that sum. Without the benefit of a professional, independent appraisal, I'd have to pass on this one. Too much money, too much risk.
