Hello.
I have a question regarding a slightly indented natural on a diamond. The diamond is a 1.18ct round brilliant cut and is to be mounted in a six prong platinum head. The natural is found on the girdle (medium to thick, faceted) and is not thin at that point.
From searching through previous posts on this forum I read mixed reviews on how naturals affect clarity grade. Do you think that it might be feasible or helpful to state an internal clarity grade as well as an external clarity grade (such as SI1 - Internal Clarity and SI2 - External Clarity)?
Also, what are your thoughts on durability while setting such a stone?
Thank you,
Katy
