My mom sold her 1.6 carat round brilliant in 1979. She had three kids under 4 and my dad was laid off from the board of education. We’re diamonds worth more then? It helped them get back on their feet. I assume she got around 7 grand when I’m sure that’s not what my father paid, or his parents.

If pricescope is the place to go for diamond prices as stated in the blog, why aren't the prices kept current. People do want to know about prices. Please keep current.
