Colors and clarity levels are the same SI1, H, eye-clean. Both salespersons on WF and BGD assured me they are breathtaking.

There is some concern for me on #2 having the higher HCA # and having a higher depth and table %. Both salespersons on WF and BGD assured me they are breathtaking.

Don't use the HCA for selection, it is meant for rejection. Once you get diamonds of this calibre with supporting images, the HCA's use is extremely limited. The proportions of each diamond are top notch, nothing to worry about. If you can't decide, ask Brian or Lesley to discuss each with you, that could help you choose between them.

Get the cheaper one?

sorry, Lorelei, you are right, and i knew this! to clarify my original post. #1 is a BGD signature and #2 is a WF ACA. i know what i would get from BGD, which is #1, but was wondering if there's any way someone can provide a comparison between #1 and #2 (since they are competitors, I don't think I can ask BGD why the WF one would be better or worse). thanks!

the bottom line price with the settings i want from each respective jeweler are a little under $200 apart. but $200 is still a chunk of money, thanks for the response!

seems like it''s a stalemate on the poll lol.

how do the idealscope/asset images compare? or do you think i''m just comparing two ferraris of the exact same model?

One designer, same model, different options?

On the BGD image it looks like there is something not so symmetrical with the arrows and shafts at 2, 8 and 11.
It might just be the image and my untrained eye. Not sure. Ask Brian or Lesley about it.

ok i''ll ask. thanks.

i''m curious to know why so many votes for #2 !

ok - i think i know what i''m leaning towards (for the immediate moment)

with that said, do you guys think both stones are most likely the same in terms of "wow" factor ?

i need some assurance that at least i''m selecting among two excellent stones! thanks all.

I would lean toward BGD, the numbers are great (measurements, hca score, etc)..and the stone is a smidge larger.

I think this one would be a Wow for sure!

Sorry I meant to add Whiteflash for the other stone, I was editing and got distracted! Both are super, I know its hard to choose between them, you have two potentially very fine diamonds there.

the only thing jumping out at me is the LGF - I prefer the WF LGF - I think I recall Brian saying he prefers them a little longer but I prefer them on the chunkier side.

The BGD stone--I prefer the numbers.

i made a choice guys thank you ALL for my dozens of strange questions

i''ll be sure to post pics

Il ike thr BGD stone a tad more -- bigger, slightly more preferrable numbers, cheaper.

lol neither... i got the one below per Brian and Lesley's suggestion after speaking with them. He felt that this one was slightly better than the other BGD i listed above due to slightly less visible inclusions, although both are eye clean.
