My DH made an offer and it was accepted. Pending inspection and an appraisal he will have his first classic car and offically the "other woman" in his life. We are starting to think of names... any ideas? It is a '68 Camaro SS that is Fathom Green.. (Dark)

Looking for something classic not too trendy and feminine... some of the first ideas we have had:

Stella
Grace
Thelma
Mrs. Robinson
Aretha
Sophie
Sabrina

We are open to ideas if anyone is interested in tossing a name out...

EXACTLY!!!!

We have a few more..

Layla
Lola
Wasabi (we couldn't help it..)
Audrey
Josie

My vote right now is Lola... I likeee... :naughty:

Oh LA Jen.. I like Trixie... too!!!

Lola is the first name that popped into my head.

Maxine!

I like the name Lola. Great car! Congrats! :appl:

Bernice?

I do like Lola!

I do have to say... I'm not getting a particularly "feminine" vibe from that picture of the car, although Mrs. Robinson still seems like a good fit due to her predatory nature

How about -

Bonnie (of Bonnie and Clyde)
Rosemary (Rosemary's Baby)

I think Twiggy would also have been big :wink2: in '68.

I like Roxanne. Looks like a car that needs an X in the name.

That is one beautiful car!! Although I don't own one, I really have an appreciation for those old girls. I noticed it has hood pins, My mom had a 66 Mustang (must be why I have a love for classics) and it had mini master locks for the hood pins and I thought it was very cool.

In the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds" the mustang is named Eleanor - might be a fun homage. ;)

I'm leaning towards Lola! :) Sounds like a vampy mistress! Hubby hasn't named any of his classics but I used to name my cars.
