Here is my temporary wedding band until next anniversary when I hope I can buy the matching halo wedding band from White flash. I think it looks great with the engagement ring. I have tried on quite a few and never found one with the right dimensions- most were too tall. This is from a very fancy jewelry store and was $99. The same one would probably be about $70 in a mall store but I like the memory of buying it in a swanky place--the guy had a British accent--and you know you can say anything with a British accent and it sounds so upper-crust. I tried it on and said "I''ll take it" which is so unlike me, I usually ruminate for a long time on any purchase. I think the sleek wg creates a lovely contrast and makes the diamonds on the e-ring pop out all the more. Now is money were no object I''d get the halo, or look at Cinnamon13''s idea of a memoire diamond band. I loved those and almost got that as the new band but the one I saw was $3000 at Bailey Banks and Biddle, so that was out. Anyway I am Happy!!!

so so so pretty!!! i just LOVE your ering, and it looks beautiful with that band. that should easily tide you over nicely until you can do the matching band, and when you do, you''ll be able to mix and match for different looks!

congratulations on your purchase! It looks great with your e-ring and you have such a beautiful set!!! I agree with you that you have to find the right height and width for a plain band to match with a pave band, and you found it! It looks fantastic!

You can always get the matching band from WF for an anniversary or other special occasion.

Very nice indeed! And the band looks great with it, makes the ering pop! Congrats!

p.s. Great price too.

I love your ering and the new band looks fantastic with it and you didn''t have to break the bank!!!

HappyAnniversary...your ring is BEAUTIFUL...it is just what I was thinking about getting....i was wondering what your ring size is cause I was also planning on getting a .8ish stone....i was also wondering if the diamonds on the band go all the way around? or is it a 3/4 eternity?

Thanks,
V

YEAH! It looks terrific! I''m glad you are pleased. Now, if I could make up my mind...

Thanks all for the kind comments.

Varshini--my current ring size is 5 because those pesky knuckles have gotten bigger over time, when I first got married it was 4 1/2. The diamonds go practically all the way around except for about 7 mm on the undersidefor resizing . You never see that part unless you turn your hand palm side up. I think the .8 is a spectacular size for me and my finances, I am so happy with it, diamond shrinkage has not set in at all. If I had all the money in the world I don't think I'd go much over 1 carat anyway. I am liking this plain band more and more and I might not change it, especially until my DD graduates from college (and I get a set of diamond studs!!) I tried on two bands at the store to make a trio and thought it was do-able, especially if I have a hard time with the bands spinning when the fingers get skinny in the winter (wider bands=tighter fit).

Cinnamon13-I follow your saga with great interest. Please post the quotes you get for the memoire rings, maybe the one I tried on had big diamonds in it. I remember thinking This is the one! when I tried it on---until I saw the $3000 price tag. Ok, back in the case--you are NOT the ONE.

Love it, looks great with your gorgeous ering!!!

HA,

Your e-ring is beautiful and the w-ring is just perfect!

Great looking set. Truly, those plain wedding bands are a bargain, they are so practical, and they look fabulous. A three-fold win for you!!!

By Jove, I think You've got it!! It is really hard to write in a British Accent.

It is a lovely and I do believe the ladies at the club would be happy to have you join them for tea and crumpets. Bottom, middle, or the dry crusty stuff on top*~ with that swanky choice you are a shoe in!

DKS

(dry crusty stuff on top aka upper crust*)

I''m looking at ones about half that or even less. The Purity collection is a cool single bar set, a bit different than shared prong, and you can do 7 stones that are not quite 4 pointers - the 11 stone is the same size pointers. These don''t have nearly as many diamonds as the full eternity, thus the more affordable pricing. I''m strongly considering one, but I have to get my DH fully on board first... If my bonus check for my work''s fiscal year end at the end of this month is enough to pay off our vacation we just took and a Memoire ring, I''m all about ordering it! I''ll just have to wait and see...

DKS--you write with a great British accent!

Fly Girl--Yes, the bands are a great bargain--A big part of me being so happy is knowing I don''t have to part with another thousand dollars anytime soon! and I think it looks sophisticated

Cinnamon--how cool--they may be more affordable than I thought. Something to think about in the far off future for me or until I win the lottery. I think I heard that someone in Texas won the MagaMillions and since I have a ticket I am not going to look at it yet and just pretend it was me!

Happy, it looks great as a set and although you''re talking about it as a temporary setting, I''ve gotta say it looks lovely together. You may want to re-think that other band, this one looks perfect with your ering and provides a backdrop for your ering without overshadowing it!

Oh, and while I cannot do a written accent quite as well as DKS can, may I say, since you purchased it from a british lad, that it looks very ''bespoke'' to me. Wait, is that the same thing as ''custom''? By jove, I think it is. Enjoy it and wear it in good health!

Happy, I love it! It looks great with your beautiful ering!

That set is stunning! Nicely done!

I love it! The only thing I''d do differently is go and buy one more band exactly like that for the other side LOL And then? I wouldn''t change a thing, even in a year ;)

i think it looks great with a plain band and wouldn''t change it if it were mine. or, i would buy a 5-stone ring like kcourselle to wear by itself once in awhile. i really prefer the simplicity of your set as is. the ering really stands out thanks to the plain band. great job finding a perfect fit!

They look gorgeous together, I love that set!

Wow, they look fantastic together. Congrats on the new band!!
