So I've officially gotten down to my goal weight, and just wanted to share because I never thought I could do this. I'm proud of my accomplishment :)

I have lost 32 pounds and lots and lots of inches.

My starting weight was 147.6 and my end weight is 115. I'm 4'11.

The journey has been a very interesting one both psychologically and physically. I think maintaining the weight is going to be even more difficult.

This is me now:

The picture on the left is before I began. The one on the right was half way through to my goal weight. Sorry for the awful quality.

Congrats! You look fantastic!

Wow! Nice work! You look fabulous.

Yay for you! I''d like to lose about 40 lbs myself, but am focused on 25lbs for now...

Thank you for the inspiration!

Congratulations-you look great. How did you do it?

Many congratulations.
I'd be interested to hear about the psychological aspects of your weight loss.
I'm on such a journey too.

Cute doggie, is it a Shi Tzu?

I'll also add that I think your hair style is perfect for you.
I'm a gay guy and we know these things.

Thank you Kenny :)

The psychological component was definitely interesting. When I lost 12 lbs, I noticed a difference. Then after I lost 20, I really felt like I looked exactly the way I did when I first began the journey. My mind had no caught up completely with the weight loss. I don't think even now it has. I often tell my best friend that I can SEE that I have lost some weight, but I don't feel like I look like someone who is 115 lbs. I just can't see it, at all. I feel as thought I look like someone that is definitely heavier then 115 (not that this is a bad thing, but overall for my height).

Aside from this, my SO and I really love the city scene still. We enjoy going out to nice restaurants and lounges so inevitably we are around many males. I remember being heavier and never getting the type of attention I get now from guys. I WAS thin before I got heavy, yet this time around its different. A lot more males approach me, look at me, and even sometimes make comments (right in front of SO! or TO SO!!!!!!!) A lot of times I feel violated, other times it is nice compliments and I appreciate it.

My SO has 6 brothers, and all except one of them have not seen me since all of the weight has come off and they all told me I look like a completely different person. <-----I disagree, my mind still see's the same face..just a bit skinnier.

My best friend on the other hand, told me she's always felt like I've looked like this (32 lbs lighter)...I showed her pictures to compare and she's baffled and says she really never thought I was "heavy" and is unable to believe the before pics. I purposely look at before pictures so that my MIND CAN see the difference.

I also make sure to measure myself once a month. Waist, hips, thigh, and arms. I lost about 6 inches in my waist, a few in my hips, about 3 in my thighs, and about 2 in my arms. I'm glad I barely lost in the hips.

The pooch is actually a rescue :) She is a poodle and coonhound mix...with traces of lab in her 'ancestors'

My first reaction was: "wow you look hot". Congrats on all your hard work paying off.

I lost it with Weight Watchers.

It''s definitely been a lifestyle change. Just to add to my previous post it has been psychological in terms of how I eat too. I''ve trained my mind to stop eating when I feel ''satisfied'' not FULL. I''ve also trained my mind to understand that if I want chips, I can eat a handful and realize I don''t need the whole bag to feel like I got the full taste of it. Not sure of this made any sense but it was very difficult for me to eat chips without eating at least half of it because it just tasted so so so so good. Now, I can get the ''taste'' with just a handful.

You are beautiful.

Thanks for sharing the before, progress, and after pictures and what you thought along the way.

Autumn- You look FANTASTIC! Congratulations on hitting your goal weight!!!

Congrats!! You look great. I know how difficult it can be to lose weight (I lost over 42 lbs for my wedding last year), so well done on your accomplishment.

Congratulations
You look stunning and at this weight have a lovely figure.
I know from experience that keeping the weight off is difficult.
Keeping within three pounds of my goal weight works for me.

WOW! You look amazing!!!!!! Congrats on the hard work and dedication.

You are beautiful!

I''m really inspired by your weight loss. Thank you for sharing those pictures. I LOVE that dress, by the way.

Thanks, guys!!!

I got the dress at Group USA :)

P.S. I'm so glad I have been an inspiration to some of you---thats the best compliment of all.

You''re so pretty! Before and after, that''s wonderful that you were able to accomplish that! Congratulations!

How long did this take you? I''ve been meaning to seriously lose weight for the past 2-3 years, but I''m just terrible at actually sticking to anything.

AN I think you look fantastic! Kudos to you for your hard work. You''re right, weight loss is just as much a mental process as it is a physical process and sometimes it takes longer for our brains to catch up with our waistline. You can easily see this going in the other direction when people who''ve GAINED 30 lbs are still trying to wear clothes that are too small. Regardless of how it *should* be, a person''s appearance is so ingrained in their identity so when major changes are made-good or bad-it''s almost like we go into denial and have to counsel ourselves to get to the point where we see ourselves for who we really are and what we look like.

Great job, keep up the good work!

You can do it. You just have to REALLY want it. Almost have a breaking point where you say "enough is enough...I''m serious about this and NOTHING will stop me"

It took me 6.5 months to lose 32 lbs

Another big congrats! What an amazing accomplishment! I''ve done my fair share of roller coaster-ing up and down with my weight, and I know how challenging it is to drop weight and keep it off. I really commend your strength and I think you look fantastic!

I''ve recently decided (after a hellish final semester of grad school) that I need to get back on the wagon, eat healthier, and just be healthier (and drop a few pounds as well). You''ve definitely inspired me!

Wow!! You look awesome! Great job, I really hope you are able to upkeep the loss. Gosh I really need to get off my butt and lose weight too!

Wow! Congrats to you! You look great! I just had my first Zumba class. I am trying to lose about 10-15lbs over the next two months! Seeing your post just gave me a good swift kick in the arse to stay motivated!

omg Autumn, you look fantastic!! What an accomplishment, I am so impressed! Congrats!

You look fantabulous! Congrats!

Thank you ladies :)

You look wonderful! Your story in indeed inspirational for me.

I do think you were beautiful before, I can see why your freind was so surprised when you told her what you had lost. I have been heavier most of my adult life and I have some friends who are always surprised to know what I weigh, in their minds I am much slimmer (all my friends are slim). Positive illusions I guess!

When I was 23 I lost 35 lbs and it was a similar transformation for me. I kept it off for 3 years and then various life things got in the way -- new GOOD relationship, had a baby -- and I am now back to the weight I was before my loss. My husband and I just signed up for Weight Watchers today and we have started running races! We can run 5km now. Anyways, hopefully within 6 months I can post my "after" photo too
