Wedding My wedding veil and jewelry

I went to a trunk show recently and was able to meet the designer and get all of my veil and jewelry shopping done in one fell swoop! I was only able to get some semi-crappy camera phone shots though since they don't let you take photos unless you're buying and all I brought with me was my phone.

I'll be sure to post better photos later when I get the stuff in. Anyways here are the pearl and crystal chandelier earrings. You can see a shot of the headwrap I bought as well in this photo. She had lots of gorgeous headbands but what I bought was a belt that is wrapped around my head twice and tied. I'm going to do a grecian-y style hairdo.

This is a terribly blurry shot but you can sort of see the matching bracelet I got. I''ll definitely post a better picture later. The bracelet and earrings go together very well.

Here''s a shot of the back of the ''headwrap''. The designer originally tied it to the side but my friend liked it hanging down the back.

Here''s the veil I''m getting. It''s sweep length and falls in layers down the sides. I''m having her add 50% more ''poof'' to the top of the veil since I don''t like how flat it lays. I would have had her add a lot more poof but I''m going to wear my hair up higher in the back so it will already lift the veil up. So we split the difference!

This is the blusher on the veil... as I said in my last post there will be more 'poof' on top! In order to do that she has to custom make the veil. It's made out of one piece of material so she'll be adding more material which will add more to the side layers but I think it will turn out nicely, or I hope it will.

Anyways I will post much better photos when the stuff comes in. It should be here in another month or so! The veil and jewlery is all custom made.

Awesome finds!! Lucky duckie! They look fantastic, romantic and sweet. I dunno how you''re going to take it off. I''d want to wear the head wrap forever!!! Going out to the bars? Wear the head wrap. Meeting the in-laws --> head wrap. Something that fabulous looking, you can''t just wear it ONCE.

Well the best thing about that headwrap is that it''s actually a belt. So I can wear it as a belt or even as a long chain necklace. If I''d have opted for the traditional headband then I''d be pretty limited on what I could do with it, although those were cute too!

The head wrap is a belt that was wrapped twice and tied. The designer also makes actual double head wrap headbands that have side tassles that match some of the earring sets she has. Which were awesome! I'd have loved that bug I wanted the big chandelier earring look so I went with that wrap.

The problem is I have pearls in my jewelry and we can't post where we buy pearls from in this forum. All I can say is she's a pretty well known (and pretty darn pricey!) wedding designer. I was at a trunk show for her last month and I can't see where you could buy her stuff online like this either anyways. It's so re-wearable though... I can use it as a belt or necklace or headwrap again later.

ETA: I was wrong on the price! The headwrap before tax was 400.95!! Then add in CA tax 8.25%. There ya have it! Not bad...
