Shimmer - you are reading my mind. I actually showed Leon the last 23rd Street Jeweler ring as I wanted something like that but he wasn''t big on the idea. It was his least favorite idea of the couple we bounced around. The third setting with the two petal like designs - where is that ring from? Any more pictures? Great ideas!

Kasey - Leon suggested the bubbles and I like it too. Still trying to convince the fiance on it - he isn''t a fan.

Thanks everyone - keep the ideas coming!

I don't have a "boring pave solitaire," but I have two friends who do, one of whom is a Pricescope member. People's tastes differ, but could you be a little less dismissive? As for my spinel setting, I'm comfortable with my style and do not care about what you said.

Pixley, thanks for your kind words. Swap?

This one I found on the Beverley K website. I can''t directly link it, but go here, then to ''Collections'', ''Beverly K'' and ''Semi Mounts'', Page 31. That''s the only picture I could find. I think Leon would execute it beautifully!

I found another similar style from Bev K, on pg 28.

I''m going to call artist Leon this week to see if he design rings for men.You never know he might want a challenge. His work is very detailed and if I can get him to think heavy ring, heavy ring, made a creation can be born!

Harriet - I am so sorry but it wasn't my intention to offend you in any way. Your spinel setting is one of my all time favorite settings and still is - I mentioned this to you several times in the past. In fact, I love all of your rings! Your spinel ring just wasn't what I was looking for my e-ring and I don't think it came across properly. My choice of words was very poor - what I describe as "boring" are also some of my favorite timeless rings. Doh .. I deserved the slap. As you said though, people's tastes differ and it is probably best that I don't use real PSer's rings as examples.

No worries, I''m not offended. I wanted to give you the head''s up that others might be.

Charmy....

For some odd reasons, I thought you settled on a setting with Leon...
Where are you in this?

I''d like to know :)

I am no where

I have some ideas and I am considering having Michael E do the cads for them after seeing how amazing your cads were.

Ahhhhhhhhhh

I really thought you made up your mind. I don''t know where I got that idea!!!

I have known Michael E for...... more than 10 years. Wow... it''s been a long time! :)
I am sure if you communicate with him your ideas, he might be able to stir your imagination some more and arrive to a wonderful design!
That''s what happenend with the "fleur de Lys" prong!

He''s really a nice gentleman and very honest too. Your lovely diamond is currently set or still waiting for the right setting?
