There is just something about a nice sunset that speaks to my soul. Glad I was able to capture this one tonight.

Thanks, y’all! I love taking photos of sunrises and sunsets. (You can tell by my hobby IG account: itslovelyoutside. No need to follow as it’s public.)

We are in the Tampa area visiting family this weekend, so here we get the sunsets over on the gulf coast side of the state. (We live on the Atlantic coast so we get sunrises over the ocean back home.) We drove out to the causeway and hung out to watch the sky get painted tonight. We were not disappointed!

And in case you were wondering @Matthews1127, we didn’t get to stop by our favorite shop this time. Maybe next visit.

Breathtaking. Views like this make me realize how beautiful life really can be despite the challenges and how wondrous it all is. Peaceful at times, stormy at times but stunning and just wow.:kiss2:

I love the Gulf side of the state! We have such wonderful memories, there!
I hope to go back, again, some day....and....ummm....visit Gesner’s....lol!!! :Up_to_something2:

@ohsomethingshiny, are you a Florida gal? I’m in Orlando. I Love both coasts. Sunrise on the east and sunset on the west. Both are magical in their own way. LOVE this picture you took! The colors are so intense and amazing and you created drama with setting the horizon at 2/3 the picture. I find the best sunset pics in Florida are during Fall/winter so this was truly an epic shot! :clap:

Yes, I am a Florida girl. :mrgreen2: We are in Saint Augustine. So not too far away from you.

Thank you so much for the awesome compliment! I love taking pictures and when I share them I always hope someone else will feel something when they look at them. Sunrises and sunsets have always been one of my favorite subjects, too! And I agree that fall/winter is the best time to capture them. I have a few more posted HERE if you’d like to see than.
 
Beautiful! We are also in the same area on vacation and I love the sunsets. We are also on the Atlantic side so at home we get the sunrises.
