My setting is just across the river!

I have been waiting for a setting from Singapore for about 3 days, and I've been tracking it at the UPS site. It's been to India, Germany, Kentucky, New Jersey, Philly, and now it's 15 minutes away, across the river! It arrived there at 6am. Now I'm watching for that wonderful brown truck! DH said I could open it up w/o him, but I want to wait. But then again, I'm not good at waiting.

I haven't been this excited since my 10th birthday, when my parents told me they would take me out to get a gerbil.

I remember the feeling. If you''re like me, every loud vehicle that passes by your house causes you to run to the window to see if it''s UPS. LOL

I was lucky and my ring was delivered shortly after 9am, but I must have woken up at 5am that day so excited I couldn''t sleep. I was just like a little child on Christmas morning.

WHOOOOHOOOOO!!!! How exciting!

OK, the ring is IN THE HOUSE!!! That poor UPS guy - upon hearing that distinctive squeel of his truck coming to a stop, I ran down the stairs, whipped open the door, and just watched him look at his electric pad thingy and then walk up to me with it. I thought I'd open it right up, but then decided to wait for DH and open it with him. He'll be home in just an hour, I can survive. Now, if it came before 1pm, I think I'd go crazy!

The cookies are: a lemon cookie, coconut fudge swirl cookie and chocolate crinkle cookie. I never met a cookie I didn't like

As for my gerbil, she died at age 5

, which is old for gerbils. I don't know if any setting would be as wonderful as Nosy. I even taught her to shake with her tiny paw. She took me from childhood to young womanhood. I'm still an animal lover. I'd have more pets if DH would let me.

I'll let y'all know how my new bauble looks.
