it is hard to remove and put on. Wish I can adjust it a 1/4 size up when the weather is warm. Does your rings feel too tight on your fingers during the warm weather months?

Drink more water.

When I work out my fingers swell and my rings feel tight/constricting. Otherwise I don't have problems any time of the year, but I limit my salt intake and drink 64 oz of water every day.

You should give it to me.

My ring size can vary almost an entire size in the summer. On really cold day in the winter my rings are always loose.

No matter what I do my fingers swell in the heat. So my rings are sized slightly larger (at a 6 vs my actual 5.75) and then during the winter/cooler months I wear 2 bands with my ER and during the summer/warmer months I wear just one band with my ER. Solves my problem so no matter the temps my rings fit.

I live in a very humid climate. When its high and I'm in it too long my fingers are so puffy your think I'm nine months pregnant

I'd be happy to take care of it for you for a few months.

Hey DF ... 8.5 is MY size!

Did I ever tell you what a wonderful person you are?
Did I tell you I'm not a liberal any more?
Did I tell you I can't stand Obama?

I feel your pain DF. My fingers swell in heat, so if I go for a run first thing in the morning without taking my rings off first (I sleep in them etc) then there isn't a hope in hell of me getting them off for a couple of hours afterwards.

I wear wedding ring, full eternity, solitaire. Mostly in the summer I find myself wearing the eternity on my right hand. Almost 9mm on one finger is unbearable & uncomfortable.

my fingers swell alot in the summer...

Alas, I suspect you're right. That would be too loose even on my thumb, and too tight even on my big toe. ;(

;))

Yes, your first sentence is true but not the last two...

Mine too! I wear a size 4.5 and in the winter it is loose. In the summer it can get super tight on hot/humid days. I tried on a wedding band with my e-ring and the combination made my finger very uncomfortable but then in the winter it'll all be loose. Can't decide whether to size up the wedding band. If I do, I won't be able to wear it alone!!

Same here. The 100 degree heat today won't help.
I will probably just wear my 7 stone band, since it's a little bigger than my solitaire. I've been considering getting a little rose gold band, again in the bigger size, to wear along side it during the summer and give my solitaire a "vacation" at the bank box for the summer.

Yes! I have very fleshy fingers, and I feel like they change sizes pretty drastically. In the winter my ring is loose and spins. In the summer I can barely get it off =|

Well, of course not.
I just want your big honking Octavia! :Up_to_something:

My finger size changes every 5 seconds. My right hand varies between a 6 1/2 and 6 3/4 and my left hand is usually about a size 7.

Mine swell too-especially when it's humid outside. Vibrations make them swell too-something as random and simple as mowing the lawn can make my fingers so huge I can barely bend them and even spread apart they still touch, depending on the mower used. Chug a lug the water, DF! I average 80-100 oz daily and have become so accustom to it I can feel it and see it in my body when I don't get it.

How does drinking water reduce your finger size? I never heard this advice before.

I have big knuckles, so my rings are sized 5.25 or 5.5 to accommodate my knuckle size. The bottom part of my fingers are <5, so though my fingers my swell a little in the summer, my rings just go from super loose, to fitting perfectly. As long as I don't take them on and off too often to clean etc, I won't injure my knuckles. In the summer I just clean my diamonds while they are on my finger.

Hi Madam Bijoux, it's because if you're not drinking enough fluids your body will retain water to prevent dehydration. So drinking more water only helps if you are dehydrated.

DF, I feel your pain. So frustrating to have your rings become too snug. My friend who has arthritis uses a horseshoe insert in her rings so she can get it over swollen knuckles and really likes it. I haven't tried it so not sure if it works for general swelling.
