About 5 years ago, my husband was asked to hold onto my ering and wedding band when I ran in a fun run. When I got to the finish line and asked for my rings back, my husband ony had my wedding band. He lost it. 3 hours later, I gave up, reported it missing, and never saw it again.
We brought a half carrat chain store diamond to replace it, but it wasn''t the same... And we always talked about having a new ring made.
I picked up a lovley 1.65ct aquamarine, and talked about setting it in a three stone setting with a couple of DH''s Aunts ering princess cut diamonds, or in an ideal world, with a couple of asschers.
I sort of forgot about it when work got crazy, and I gave up trying to find the right diamonds.
Then On Wedensday, 13 years after he popped the question the first time, my beloved ased me if I would remain his wife forever, and presented me with THIS! I had NO idea that he went ahead with it, I hadn''t even talked about what I wanted apart from wanting a three stone ring! He and our jeweller did such a good job, and they designed the perfect ring for me.
