My Promise Ring

Hey All,

I''m a long time lurker and I''ve finally gotten around to joining. This is my promise ring from my boyfriend of 3 years. He got it about a year ago, long before I was educated! The diamonds are microscopic...but we both are still in college...I still love it!

as you can see in the first post that the prongs and stone are set wierd...it''s not a very high quality, but it''s sentimental and we will do tons of research for the e-ring.

The main thing is you love it and honestly my first impressions were ohhhh thats a nice ring

I have a ring that MY BF bought me prior PS days for my Birthday it is not the worlds most expensive ring BUT I love it and would not trade it for the world .

We don''t have promise rings in OZ but I think we should more jewelery for me YEAH

It''s a great ring! I love think it''s very sweet of him and even more sweet of you to hold it in such high regard. My first ring from my husband was one we purchased without the pricescope knowledge too... and like you, I absolutely adore it! It means the world to me, because my hubby thought so much of me and our relationship. That ring is awesome - very pretty, and then even more so for it''s meaning.

about replating...just birng it in to a jeweler and ask them to replate it i did that with my promise ring and i swear when i got it back it was even cleaner than when my boyfriend first gave it to me! but yea its not a hard thing to do...just go to a place you trust and ask them to replate it, it cost some money (i spent 25 on mine) but its so worth it!

Thanks everyone for all the great comments! I am so glad I joined! I will tell you all when we start looking for a e-ring! emilina22...so it wasn''t very expensive? My bf said he would do it for me soon! YAY! I also need to get it resized...its a little bit too big!

i had to get resizing done, and replating and i even got my stones reset i think it all cost like 5o dollars which i dont think it was too bad, and they had it done in one day!
