In June 2009, I purchased a pair of 1.06ctw J SI studs from BGD to commemorate my DD''s birth. They were my push present from DH. I wore those every day for a few months when I realized that I wished they were a little bigger (isn''t that almost always the case, darn DSS)! While the original studs weren''t BGD signature stones, Lesley helped me hand select them, and they were beautiful so she agreed to let me upgrade them. In order to make this purchase affordable, I decided to go with K stones for the upgrade. I had upgraded my ering to a K stone, and while I wasn''t thrilled about an ering with a K stone, I thought K''s would be perfect for earrings. After a few weeks of looking at a few different stones, Brian brought in a shipment of K stones especially to find a pair of earrings for me. These two stones were the ones that he selected for me. I had already given Lesley a budget, and these stone were bigger than I was originally looking at (I was looking for stones in the 0.70-75 range). Brian priced them very competitively with regard to my original budget, even though they were larger than we had been talking about. They were sent off to the AGS for grading, and everything came back great. They set the stones in one day and overnighted them to me the following day, so I would receive them before I went out of town for Christmas. It was another fabulous shopping experience with BGD!
