Very pretty Arc. I love the colour and it really suits your skintone. Don''t worry about not being able to see the star too much, this is fairly typical but you''ll probably notice it more in some lights rather than others. Will you have it bezel set in silver?
LD, yeah, I''m for sure going to have it bezeled, I''m just not sure by whom though. I may have Julia do this one depending on her backlog.
I''ve been playing with it most of the day
and have to admit I without the star though the star is kind of fun to play around with. most of the time its a pretty blue/grey color that I can see myself wearing quite a bit.
TL this came from srilankamall. This one was the only bluish one I saw, though plenty were more on the grey side of the line.
You did good A! Thank you for showing us, the stone is beautiful. I''ve been looking at his star stones so many times, now I can take the plunge thanks to you
Thanks Chrono. it does look like a drop of water...lol Thats what it looks like most of the time unless in sunlight. At the very least its not boring!
crasru, I have to say I don''t really miss not seeing the star too much either. It is however a pleasant suprise when I do see it.
mt, if you''re inclined I would say go for it. They''re not too expensive and if you''re not looking for ideal colors they can make a fun stone project for sure. I had to do a lot of looking through they''re inventory to see what they meant by translucent and transparent.
I have seen so many stars, but the best of them were actually a fake. I believe it is very hard to find a well-defined star and the whole star phenomenon appeals more to my mind (a rarity!) than to my eye. This cabochon has a fabulous color, and I hope to see pictures of it in silver soon! Thank you, Arcadian, for bringing this beautiful color to us!
